How can I check the product before purchase?
The product pages provide all the information needed for the product you're looking at, including the price, the number of copies we currently have in stock and a summary of the book that might help you decide.
If something catches your eye but you would like to save it for later, there's also an option to add the item to your Wishlist. Just click on the little heart next to the cart button!

Can I have my order put on hold for me to pick up?
Yes. If you've placed your order with the Bookstore by email we will process it during our regular business orders and email or WhatsApp you to confirm when it is ready for pick up. The online store also has an option for pick up orders that you can choose instead of shipping.
What if I can't find what I'm looking for?
The best way to locate a product in the online bookstore is to use the Product Search functions located in the top navigation area of the bookstore. If you need further help, call us 0112684851
What is an ISBN?
Every published book is given both a 10-digit and a 13-digit ISBN which are unique to that exact edition of the text. The ISBN can be found on the back cover of the text or inside the book on the page containing copyright information. For books that come shrink-wrapped with additional content, the ISBN on the shrink-wrap will be different that the ISBN on the textbook.

What are your delivery costs?
We have a free delivery option for most of our Colombo city limits customers for purchasing above Rs. 2,500.00. There is a standard charge for all other post and courier shipping.
Do you offer faster delivery?

For an additional fee we offer express delivery and a tracked delivery service, though only to specific destinations. These options will be offered to you during the checkout process. If no further options are available, only the free delivery option will be shown.
Express delivery will offer faster delivery times once your order has been processed – and in many cases will come with faster picking and packing.
Can I change my delivery address?
You can change your address at any time during the Checkout Process. However, because we process requests very quickly once your order's been placed, it may no longer be possible to change the delivery address. If you have made a mistake with your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will try and resolve any issues. Our friendly customer care assistant will also be able to fast-track this message to our team for you.
Where is my order?
We cannot provide full tracking for all of our orders. However, we do update the status of your order according to which stage it is at in our fulfilment process. Our friendly customer care assistant will also be able to find your order.

Registered Customers
If you have set up an Account the current status of your order is displayed in your Account Dashboard. You can find this by logging in through the 'My Account' area on the website.
Guest Customers
If you have placed an order as a Guest the Account Dashboard facility is not available. We will also keep you up-to-date by email at every stage of the dispatch process.
Why do I need to register on the site before I can place an order?
Establishing an online account with IBH – Reader’s Paradise assures you that your purchasing information is secure, confidential and accessible to you. Once you establish an account, you will only need to sign-in to place an order in the future, check on the status of your current order, view past purchases or update your profile information.

What payment methods are available?
We accept online payments by PayHere.lk and by all major credit and debit cards (excluding American Express). Provided you have a compatible device or browser we are also able to take payment using Bank Transfer or Bank Deposit.

I received a promotional offer and I want to place my order online. Can I?
Yes, you can. During the checkout process, you will see an Enter Promotion Code button (individual accounts). Simply enter your promotional code(s) in the field(s) provided and the right offer(s) will be applied.
Can I cancel my order?
We can only cancel an order if it hasn't yet been processed by our picking and packing department. Usually, products are processed within a matter of hours, so this limits our ability to cancel an order before this time. If you have made a mistake with your order, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will try and resolve any issues. Our friendly help customer care assistant will also be able to fast-track this message to our team for you.
What is your refund policy?
We are happy to refund a product if it is defective, within 7 days of purchase or upon the return of your product with the Invoice. If you return a product to us and request a refund due to an error on our part we will be happy to pay for the cost to return it to us.
